D&B Legal Services, Inc first began operations in May of 2003. We provide service of process, Investigative services and Courier service for the entire Kansas City region. D&B Legal Services is fully licensed and insured.
The founders Bill and Dee Powell, having over 30 years of experience in the legal field, noticed a need in the legal community for a quality legal service firm. They have grown the company to include a full service Investigative Team, Service of Process and a Full Service Courier Team. We provide Nationwide Service of Process and in some cases International Service of Process. At D&B Legal Services, Inc we specialize in making each client feel like they are our only client. We are very flexible to the clients needs and wants and our goal is to help you move your case along in the justice system.
In 2024 long time employees James Hannah and Samantha Powell acquired the company as Bill and Dee retired.

Our firm understands the importance of moving your case along. Process servers are the single most important aspect of the legal process. D&B Legal Services is here to assist you in crossing that step.
Service Levels
Routine - First Attempt within 7-10 days, 4 attempts total before expiration.
3 Day Rush - First attempt within 24 hours served within 72 hours.
Same Day Rush - First attempt same day served within 24 hours. *
Emergency Rush - Drop everything and serve right now.
*Any service received after 3pm, for same day service, will incur an additional fee.

Our couriers cover the entire Kansas City Metro. Whether you need a box or envelope delivered D&B has you covered. Have an out of town run? We can assist with that as well.
Our service levels are created for your flexibility and needs.
Levels include:
4 Hour - This is our end of business day delivery option - no rush just delivered by the end of the day. Cut off time for 1 way delivery is 1pm and for a roundtrip order the cut off is 9am.
2 hour - For a quicker delivery, this will get your package delivered in 2 hours or less. Cut off time for 1 way delivery is 3pm and for a roundtrip order the cut off is 1pm.
Express - Our 90 minute delivery option. Cut off time for 1 way delivery is 3:30pm and round trip delivery cut off is 2pm.
Urgent - This is our ASAP option. Your package will be delivered in 1 hour or less. No cut off times.
Have a delivery that needs to be delivered after hours (5:30pm to 8am) give us a call we may be able to help.
